But don't worry, the police will regain their good image by all buying new uniforms and asigning the unior officrs to highly polish the shoes of the seniors every morning and afternoon.

And they will all buy new hand guns to show they have good equipment, the juniors can clean the handguns at the same time they polish the seniors' shoes.

A few corsets might help too.............

posted on social media about the shocking and depressing incident that happened to colleagues.

And what about the 'shocking and depressing incident' back in 2012 when a policeman was killed by 'Boss'?

"Regain"? That would imply they ever had anybody's trust to begin with, not.

Aways attempts at nice presentation, no focus on substance.

Is he in the 99% you state are rotten to the core, or is he OK because you personally know him?

I've known the family for 15 years, helped him and his younger sister going through school and University, he's a policeman and she's a teacher.

Both good people and straight as a die.

They are in the 1 % of up-stream swimmers.

since were on the subject of trust

what happened to the dead suspect from the plastic bag killing  ... did he come back to life or are we waiting for more evidence about the 5 officers

Trust Them ? No on your Nelly.

What have they done now with BJ (Big Joke) hey.

The news I Heard is that he's Off the case , Stepping Again on to many Big Toes,

Anyone heard that too or is it Fake News?

since we did not hear an outrage and call to abolish capital punishment, my assumption is that the case is probably suspended pending investigations into the wild and unfounded allegations that other untimely passings in that area could maybe possibly have occurred.

He believed that no officer would have expected that the dinner party would abruptly turn into a murder scene.

At the dinner party, many law enforcement officers had mixed reactions to the unprecedented shooting. A group of officers allegedly aided the suspect in fleeing the crime scene, sabotaged the evidence, and
neglected the wounded.

There, in a nutshell is what's wrong at the top. He still can't  (or won't) see what's right in front of his face.

No. You have no understanding of where respect comes from. True leaders really are in the service of their people. True leaders act with integrity and in doing so they establish trust. True leaders genuinely value their people and in doing so they create loyalty. True leaders are in the business of assisting people to realize their full potential, and in doing so they inspire excellence. Nobody can demand respect, loyalty or trust, like the police constantly do. These things have to be earned.

the RTP at it's inception seems to have been created with a status quo from the government. We will NOT pay you a living wage, but you have a franchise, and the limit of your income is based solely on your own creativity and initiative, and you will always be protected. Is that not the case?

Are they out finding government officials who are engaged in drug trafficking or sex slavery? No. Why? Because those goons are protected.

Are they patrolling the highways to find reckless drivers? No. Why? Because they do not care one iota about traffic safety. It is all lip service.

The only obscenity committed here, is the one done by the RTP. The level of pretense, the level of fake purity, the dumb and mindless application of laws here is beyond inane.

The RTP cannot get enough bad press, as far as I am concerned. To call them derelict in their duties would be too diplomatic. They barely practice any law enforcement, and work the franchise, as if their future fortunes depended upon it, which it seems to. The RTP are a blight on the face of the nation. Kudos to anyone, for calling out these corrupt creeps. Keep it up guys. Hopefully you will get what is coming to you. One can only dream. Always remember one thing. The police here are rarely engaged in law enforcement. They are revenue collection agents, and they each have their own franchise. Nobody will ever touch them. They are protected at the highest levels. They do as they please, and Thailand remains a relatively lawless state.

Need to weed out some of these "Fake Police Lieutenant General" as for trust that ship sailed a long time ago,

Why not start by getting rid of these stupid military ranks? The police are not the military, personally , I think these ranks are just an excuse for police officers to buy them no matter what ability to fight crime they have. That is where the problem lies, policemen with funny ranks and next to no ability to fight crime, so they will never "regain" any trust from the people, and never will.

Maybe you should ask yourself why police officers were at the party?

And ask why a police officer wore his side arm to a party?

This thread and all the posts should be made compulsory reading for all government depts and police districts throughout Thailand. Every word should be translated into Thai and posted on large billboards at the side of motorways, like the movie. Outside consultants from countries familiar with what obeying the law means should be brought in and given carte blanche to conduct a root and branch dissemination of the current regime, and issue court proceedings for corruption and failure

of duty to the Thai people.

How does he propose to either reform or expell 95% of Thailands Law enforcement and those in places of authority ??

I we know why he is callled the Big Joke, must be a joke??

You don't regain trust. Stop treating it like a transaction.

You "earn" trust, over long periods of time by faithfully upholding the law, abiding by your sworn oath and not criming.

LOL. ????

I was about to say "that ship sailed a long time ago," but then I realized a ship can't sail if it doesn't exist in the first place.
