Teenagers and Foreigner Injured in Pattaya Motorcycle Crash

Recommended Posts

More than half of the riders in Pattaya are foreigners, young and all and couples, many of them are women,

that probably its the only times they ride a motorbike in their life, how many are insured in case of a mishaps?

not many, if at all, i would venture a guess...

Did you read the report? The kids attempted to change lanes. And, on top of that, they were too young to be riding a motorcycle. So why is Igor to blame>

Oh Barry 🤣

Someone tell Bazza ...please

No proper motorcycle license would void the insurance even if motorbike riding is included in policy. Insurance companies don't like paying if they don't need. About time motorbike hire is not allowed without a motorcycle endorsed license.  Come to Thailand have fun throw out all sensibility and die. Try hiring a motorcycle in Australia without a license, more chance of winning lotto.:vampire:

You have obviously not been on the side of the road with your insurance rep discussing a not at fault incident with the at fault party and the police.

Pattaya —A motorcycle accident in Pattaya on Thursday night left two 14-year-old Thai teenagers and a foreign man injured.

The incident occurred last night, January 25th, in front of the McDonald’s on Pattaya Central Road, heading towards Chonburi. Upon receiving a report of the accident, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation dispatched a rescue team to the scene.

There, they found an unconscious 14-year-old Thai girl lying injured on the road. First responders administered CPR and swiftly transported her to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital for immediate medical attention.

Another injured individual, a 45-year-old foreign man identified as Mr. Igor Vladimirovich of unknown nationality, was also discovered at the scene. Suffering from bodily injuries, he received preliminary first aid before being urgently taken to Pattaya Hospital for further treatment.

Stupid Teenies. Clearly their fault. They would have to pay the hospital bill and a compensation to the Russian(?). I hope they learned their lesson.🙏

So two 14yr old girls cause the accident, so no insurance and I bet poor old Vlad will have to pay hospital bills.

If I as a pedestrian is injured by an uninsured motorbike rider, say one who broke a red light, and I am taken to hospital, will I have to pay my hospital bill? I know, stupid question. I would probably be expected to pay the motorbike rider if he/she is also taken to hospital.
