Yeah, of course! Now the national police chief Kittirat Panphet has found something that gets him going. Foreign gangs breaking the law. Sure, it must be dealt with, but they should not need to put it in the news as something big that has to be done. They should release the news when they have apprehended the gang members. 

The most silly thing here, is that they got it going on high alert as this was a FOREIGN gang. How about the notorious gang we all know about in Nonthaburi? Maybe they have paid enough to stay above the law, and also, they are Thai, so they will be let off and overlooked as that seems to be a part of the Thai culture.

I believe the problem is that forming "gangs" and "flagrantly flouting the law" are occupations restricted to Thais only, primarily those in politics, policing, judicial and military occupations.

Nobody likes competition horning in on them !

Makes you wonder what Thailand will do when the Triads start taking over the local "mafias" and stepping on a lot of toes (or cutting them off completely).
