Thai police launched a new operation dubbed Rabbit Slaughter: Suppressing Sex Creators, targeting both Thai and foreign nationals involved in producing and distributing pornographic content globally.

The operation seeks to dismantle a network including pornographic content involving Thai women.

Police, led by Saruti Kwangsopa, initiated the crackdown, resulting in the arrest of several individuals. These include 40 year old Benjamin Jon Wilkinson, a British national; 34 year old Andrei Gerbennikov from Russia; and 48 year old Volker Matthias Graul, a German national.

Others arrested were 32 year old Zvezdan Stojanov from Serbia; 26 year old Sangthian, 30 year old Thanasin, and 36 year old Rattana, all Thai nationals.

The arrests were made under warrants issued by the Criminal Court for charges related to the commercial production and distribution of pornographic material.

The charges stem from allegations that these individuals produced and distributed explicit content within Thailand, using the country as a base for their operations.

The material was reportedly sold worldwide, violating Thai law and tarnishing the country’s image.

This initiative aligns with an urgent policy directive from Police General Kittirat Phanphet to combat transnational crime using Thailand as a hub for pornographic distribution via online platforms.

According to Saruti Kwangsopa, foreign sex creators have exploited Thailand’s tourism backdrop, encouraging Thai women to participate in sexually explicit acts, sometimes filmed in iconic locations like tuk-tuks, a popular mode of transport for tourists.

The operation also allegedly involved Thai and transgender individuals and included collaboration with a well-known Thai sex creator. The investigation led to the issuance of warrants and subsequent arrests in various locations, including Bangkok, Chon Buri, and Suvarnabhumi.

During interrogations, most suspects confessed, leading to their transfer to the investigative division for legal processing. Investigators discovered a significant amount of child pornography in one suspect’s possession, prompting an extended investigation aimed at rescuing child victims.

If any further evidence of child exploitation is uncovered, additional charges related to human trafficking will be pursued, reported KhaoSod.

I think he means, why do people want to do something about porn but not do anything about the danger on the roads, if they're so bothered about the image of Thailand globally?

I cannot think of a reason why you could possibly want to read such a list!

I am a little surprised about this. Years ago, there were several well-known guys doing porn videos in Bangkok and Pattaya. The male performers found the girls in the bars. That was known in the bars and with the girls and happened for years.

At that time, it should not have been difficult to find and arrest all involved. But, as far as I know, that went on for years without arrests.

So, what changed? No tea money anymore? Some foreign NGO?

Doesn't seem to be the very rewarding career pass anyway.

Thai products are often regarded substandard in quality.

Why take a  risk domesticating an Inferior Goods while quality flicks are freely available on internet?

Almost certainly. These "Christian" organisations are likely same as those performing setups or exposes in bars in Pattaya and Phuket. Search "Exodus Road Truth". If they are truly protecting vulnerable minors then they should be supported. There is lots of counter commentary about their intentions and behaviours. DYOR and make your own mind up.

Thanks for the insider info.

Do you know if Ape Man was deported because of the movies or some other official reason?

I don't really care about that guy, but it would be interesting regarding above article.

"Rabbit Slaughter"

Who dreams up the names of these operations?!

I used to think that the Japanese were the professionals at creating 'visual policing without creating change.' I was wrong.
Thailand has so many different 'programs' that ostensibly improve the safety of its citizens without making any real difference! New programs are announced often but are greeted with rolling eyes.

Put some cops on the streets.

Read about it on a different forum years ago.  Whether factual is open for interpretation.

Actually, there was a major bust at one point.  The "Asian Street Meat" guy and his partner were arrested but Thai law's hadn't caught-up at that point so rather than prison time, they were deported and declared PNG.  I had heard he was also arrested in the Philippines but no corroboration.

I do remember a time when a number of Soi-7 Biergarten regulars were easily found on the old X-Hamster.

What rubbish, it would be hard to tarnish it more - not that much of it is any more justified than it is for other countries but Thailand is not viewed as the Land of Peace & Temples the powers that be like to think it is.

How can they possibly think that the country is viewed in any other way when they allow places like Pattaya, Soi Cowboy and Nana to operate in the way they do?  Not that I think there's anything wrong with those places - I don't. Even closing down those places wouldn't even scratch the surface when you consider all the 'Thai Places' where sex is for sale - the Thai Cafe's, Massage Parlours, Hostess Bars..........there are even entire hotels in Ratchada.  Do such establishments not 'tarnish the country's image then? Or could it be that they know how much they contribute to the economy?

The quoted statement is as bad as that made a few years back when the police chiefs of Bangkok and Pattaya went on walkabout in Pattaya and stated there was no sex for sale there.

Do they actually believe what they say? If so, I want some of what they've been smoking.

so no more uploads from ThaiAV and Creampiedaily ?

"Operation Rabbit Slaughter"

Looks like they spent more time with the name then the actual job

This is the result of western nations eliminating classes in high school on critical thinking skills.

Listen again, for all those who do not study this culture...THAILAND IS VERY CONSERVATIVE!

You may think you are getting away with your stupid behavior, but in reality, they are watching you and will strike when they are ready.

How many times have we been warned about porn in this country??? God, get a clue More Runs!

Enjoy your stay in the BKK Hilton.
