On 10th December, a video surfaced on the "Hod Jang Phuket" Facebook page, showing a violent fight between foreign tourists on the bustling street.

 

The clip, lasting 18 seconds, quickly went viral, with the caption reading, "Going hard on Bangla Road, Patong!"

The incident unfolded in the lively Soi Bangla area, where tempers flared, resulting in the tourists exchanging blows until locals stepped in to separate them.

 

The video sparked a mix of reactions from social media users, with comments ranging from expressions of disbelief to humorous remarks. The episode has once again drawn attention to the challenges of maintaining order in Phuket’s popular nightlife district.

It looked more like a cat fight, just no hair pulling.

No big deal, just a bit of bother, it got broken up within seconds and nobody was injured. Used to see similar things every Friday & Saturday night when I was a teen.

This is funny!   True story, I was in major club on Bangla Road and bumped into a person with a nice person, and said sorry Mam...and my God, it was a dude, with man purse that would put any ladies purse to shame.

I have to disagree with that. Best not to get involved in stranger's problems, look/walk the other way, or risk becoming collateral damage.

I remember being in a bar around the corner from Soi Cowboy during Songkhran, and hearing a bargirl exclaim "Falang Boxing" in Soi Cowboy.

(People getting drunk and throwing stuff at each other, a recipe for disaster).

I have seen bigger fights with 2 jealous Thai girls going for it with some mauy Thai for good measure this is hilarious it's a woke fight 😂
