In a dramatic incident on Pattaya’s bustling Soi Buakhao, a foreign tourist ended up with a bloody head wound following an early morning altercation. The incident, which involved a confrontation with a ladyboy and motorbike taxi drivers, unfolded around 4:06 am and was captured on video, now being reviewed by police.

Emergency responders arrived swiftly, finding the distressed tourist with a severe head injury. After administering first aid, they transported him to a nearby hospital for further treatment, ensuring his condition was stabilised.

The sequence of events reportedly began with a dispute between the foreign tourist and a 38-year-old transgender woman named Panya over unpaid companionship fees. It is alleged that a heated argument ensued, exacerbated by the tourist’s intoxication.

Motorbike taxi drivers, stationed nearby, intervened in an attempt to calm the situation. However, tensions flared when the tourist allegedly assaulted one of the drivers. In response, the drivers defended themselves, resulting in the tourist falling and sustaining his injury.

Panya, a central figure in the incident, informed police that she tried to disengage from the tourist, who persisted despite her efforts. She explained that the drivers initially stayed out of the fray but were drawn in when the tourist reportedly turned violent, wielding objects as makeshift weapons.

Video footage, captured by a bystander, allegedly shows the tourist attempting to attack the drivers, who appeared smaller in stature. This footage is currently under police review to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the incident.

The situation has been further complicated by conflicting witness accounts. Foreign bystanders claim the drivers reacted too aggressively, striking the tourist twice and causing his fall. In contrast, Thai witnesses and Panya offer an alternate narrative, suggesting the tourist’s aggression provoked the drivers' response.

With contrasting testimonies, law enforcement officials are meticulously analysing the incident, cross-referencing witness statements with video evidence to establish the truth and assign accountability.

As the investigation continues, authorities aim to conclude with accurate findings, ensuring justice is served. The incident highlights the volatile nature of nightlife interactions in Pattaya, prompting discussions on safety and conflict resolution.

Further updates are anticipated as police delve deeper into the evidence, aiming for a resolution that clarifies the night's chaotic events.

Off course the bike Taxi riders didn't go in single handed. Who believes the tourist was wilding weapons ? the trannie, or a the bystanders.

Ladyboys should be confined and limited to bars in which they have identification publicly ready perhaps even posted on the front of the pub

Probably some legal issues but they should be disallowed from their presence on Beach road. Cops just continually doing this sweep and arresting them as deterrent

Same goes for Sukhumvit wanderers

This man are totally amped up on methamphetamine and hormones. Many of them are not truly ladyboys but are willing to assume the costume and suck dick for money. This is a really dangerous mixture of individual

Let me guess, dirty falang didn't know it was a ladyboy, then refused to pay, ladyboy then became violent and it escalated

Maybe he knew, just didn't like the price, and in an intoxicated state thought he could negotiate

It's like when you're 7 and hurt your cousin in the yard and try to explain it to mum and dad.

They're not really on the ball with all this gender stuff are they.

A ladyboy is a man dressed as a woman.

A trans woman is a man who thinks he's a woman.

Oh well, I have been getting it wrong. I thought a trans was one having treatments to change gender. Complicated world we live in with generation X!

If ever I'll be lost in jungle full of ferocious animals, and I see a ladyboy and a huge tiger, I'll run

Another warning for Tourists in Pattaya/Phuket to not stay out late while intoxicated!!

Why is every story start with " at 4:xx am an intoxicated man..."

why do sober people never get into fights at midnight! 🤔

Nothing ever good happens at 4.06 am unless you are looking for a pound of sausages🤔

Its a very pleasant time of the day, buying sausages at that time isn't for me but a brisk walk around the mooban follow by a few laps in the pool....... Bliss.
