Keep in mind that you aren't just paying for the food itself. You're paying someone to purchase it, prepare it, serve it, and clean up afterward. You also to pay for the building, utilities, trash, kitchen, furnishings, decorations, advertising, waste, insurance, taxes, & take care of the other costs of keeping your business afloat, then you need a PROFIT to pay for your salary, housing, raise a family, pay for the car, school, clothing, entertainment, medical, insurance, retirement........ Most people are just too stupid to understand that the food they eat is often frozen and made to look better, they pretend to be expert but they know nothing, clearly. I could open a restaurant, by frozen food, add some plates decoration and few ingredients, then sell 10 times the price what I bought from Makro or any frozen food suppliers, and I am sure that 99% customers would feel nor understand nothing. Then they keep thinking that they know anything... So funny ! Thank you ! 3

I may be shot down for this but imo the worst is the much overrated Lek hotel breakfast buffet. Tried it when I first came to Pattaya because of reviews and never returned. Actually I'm staying at this hotel now, came today morning for breakfast and was really underwhelmed. Most food was Asian and, actually, my Thai wife didn't enjoy it. About farang food, only ham, croissants, spaghetti and eggs. Breakfast was included in room price, but it's marked as 300 baht if not resident. I would never pay 300 baht for this breakfast. 1

Popular Post Jingthing Posted October 28, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted October 28, 2021 Texas Chicken Pattaya Tai Proving yet again that this thread isn't some kind of precious foodie hangout, I will now address local fast food fried chicken. Texas Chicken (the same brand as Churches) is much better than KFC! There, I said it. Got a set tonight from Grab which included two large pieces, three strips, a biscuit, and two soft drinks. I gave the drinks to the delivery guy, he was happy. The strips I might use as a cooking ingredient later. But the large pieces of chicken (ordered the spicy style) were seriously delicious. The last time I ordered fast food fried chicken was from KFC and it was a grease festival. The beauty thing is that with the spicy option the Texas brand tastes similar to Popeye's (which we don't have here)! The Grab menu is in Thai. You'll need to translate it. I see that on Panda, it's in English, so it was the Set for 2. Weird that they only give one biscuit. I ordered a side small mashed potatoes as well. Promotions change often, this was 179. Texas Chicken (PTT Pattaya Jomthien) delivery near you in Chon Buri| foodpanda No lectures on how unhealthy fast food is. Yeah, I know. I rarely order it but if you're gonna have it, hopefully it's gonna be good, and this Texas fried chicken was definitely good.
