Bangkok – The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) proceeded with the reinvestigation of Red Bull heir Vorayut “Boss” Yoovidhya’s hit-and-run case, a NACC spokesperson reported today, June 14th.

NACC spokesman Niwatchai Kasemmongkol told associated Thai press today that after the Thai cabinet committee had formed the Truth and Law Committee of the Office of Attorney-General (OAG) led by Vicha Mahakun, a former commissioner of the NACC, to reinvestigate the fatal hit-and-run case of the Red Bull heir last September, the committee had now submitted a report to the Board of Directors of the NACC to consider the prosecution against those who were involved with the legal procedures, as claimed by the committee, that eventually led to the non-prosecution order against Vorayut.

The spokesperson also stated that the NACC Board has been reviewing the results of the investigation and found some grounds to continue the legal procedures. The department is currently under the process of forming an inquiry committee to continue the investigation against groups of police officers and prosecutors reportedly involved in the case.

When you have done that put the files back on the shelf for another few years.

Investigation continues!

No results, however. Difficult to find the heir to such a well known family.

They would have no way of tracking his movements through the business world. ????

Endless story because money will keep him safe and the ones who helped him..... If they really wanted to catch him they could have done it already for a long time and the involved people too..

Or are in the process of being formed or their creation being mulled.

The guy has probably been freely coming and going from Thailand for years on his private jet.

Arrest his mother she helped him

It takes innumerable committees and investigations to determine if they dare prosecute him further.  How many and whose toes are they stepping on?  Is the political/$$$ payout worth the risk? Who has what power at any given point?  It could be an award-winning soap opera if they did it right.  Endless paid replays.

“Look.….we in the government are super busy doing super important things. Focus on this and kindly ignore the impossible mess we've made of the vaccination process."

Its such an art form here to simply bury these cases in truck loads of committees, agencies that no one can ever pin down the hold up.... they are all in together and play their part in the charade, for the greater good of course.

If you were being cynical you might also raise the convenient timing of this to deflect from the Governments ongoing failure on the vaccine roll out.

Disaster of the Day.  No boss.  No vaccine.  Too much flooding, too little rain. On and on ...

Just drop-it and let him reside outside of the country.

The family is bigger than any investigation.

The family should be quietly told that if he stays away nothing will happen, if he comes back then he's going to face the consequences of his actions.

No doubt he is free to move around with his new EU citizenship or a Montenegro passport

What exactly is the point? WE all know he is never going to be prosecuted for killing the poor policeman.

The butler did it with a candlestick me thinks.  A case or two of Red Bull will be sufficient to wash it under the carpet again and again.  Such a considerable amount of foot dragging because of ones money when we have a Vehicular manslaughter case....sad

It has and did for many of the charges, and is why it was pushed aside until it would all go away.  Why they could not prosecute him in abstensia is beyond understanding as they seem to do that will politicians who flee the country.  The issue is the Deputy AG assigned to the case was on the dole, and decided to shut down the case and deny prosecution.

It's possibly the single biggest indictment of Thailand's corrupt justice system across the world.  The country has no shame.  At least TEN police officers/hangers on are worthy of investigation for the killing of a fellow officer!

You surely must be right. I think they probably have a committee already that was formed to find out how many committees there must be in operation in Thailand on any one day.

So the committee for the committee day on Monday, Tuesday etc..needs to be chaired and a new committee to over see that committee must be done....just brilliant

If he,s registered with thaiintervac the bobbies will have no problem locating him.....????????????

He's been in and out with total impunity since this saga began. It was revealed he had been living here until 2017, for five years after the incident, in plain sight and while there were warrants out for his arrest. A whiff of the Kamnan Poh about him.

The part I can't reconcile with is the fact that the victim's colleagues in the Police have aided and abetted the perpetrator to remain free. Absolutely no honour or sense of duty to a man.

Tells you all you need to know about this lot.

Netflix considering doing a special series on this sham called “And The Beat Goes On” unfortunately Inspector Clouseau wasn’t available????
