Recent Instagram posts by well-known music producer Neung Jakkawal Saothongyutitum, aka Neung Jakkawal, showing him kidding around with his young daughter and touching her inappropriately, has caused an uproar on social media, with many questioning the appropriateness of his actions.

 

In some pictures and videos, Neung Jakkawal was seen touching his daughter’s stomach, buttocks and near her pelvic area, as well as trying to kiss her on the lips. On at least one occasion shown on social media, he got his daughter to lick his nipple.

 

The #NeungJakkawal hashtag trended No.1 on Twitter in Thailand this morning (Wednesday), logging more than 1.5 million tweets.

Really creepy behaviour, even if the child was clothed.

The kissing and licking sounds to be overt grooming, and I would suggest that if posted on social media, it was not the first incident of this type for him with his child.

Have to wonder if this is something the older children have been subjected to as well.

 

 

I would have thought the worry should be if he does this in public, what does he do in private.

 

If this was in the UK, his kid would be taken away and the family courts ban him from seeing the kid or let him see the kid in a contact centre only

There is a fine line to be drawn ... What is still ' appropriate ' and what is not anymore ...?

A father spending time with his daughter and playing with her should be ok , and necessary even for the development of a healthy relationship , but when does this ' playing ' becomes sexually motivated ?

Up to every specific situation and the intentions of the male player ... but hard to judge ...

When the child feels harassed and starts to cry or complain , the limit is reached for sure .

I think having the child lick your nipple and kissing on the lips has crossed any line of acceptable behaviour

iff you look at what happened it looks to me harmless .

cannot confirm he's guilty due to lack of evidence

My Wife showed me a couple of the videos he’d posted on social media... 

 

Initially I wanted to see a father who clearly dotes on his daughter and thats what I saw in the first video - the father hugging his daughter but oddly his hand was down the back of her pyjamas on her bottom, I figured just weird and quirky - but just a bum-grab which could have been a playful moment. 

 

Then I saw another video and another, then another... all with creepy ‘incidents’ of what many of us would interpret as inappropriate contact, hand always down the pants on the bottom or over the abdomen at the front... Just plain weird.. and Yes, creepy. 

 

Whatever this is, it is unknown whether this is just a father doting on his child and out of ignorance not really knowing how creepy his behaviour is or his behaviour is deliberately letcherous .. its clear he loves his daughter, but its also clear for any onlooker that his behaviour is inappropriate whatever the explanation.
