I am trying to understand Thai women .

Recently became single and now doting.  

What is it with Thai women and kissing.

 It seems that the second most enjoyable thing called the passionate kiss has not made it to  Thailand  yet.

Asked one lady why she doe snot like kissing and she told me that if I wanted a girl to kiss then we were finished.

No I am not foolish enough to do it in public 

Just wondering if people here can enlighten this me.

And kissing needs romantic feelings (at least that is my experience)...

Perhaps the ladies you pick-up have lost all their teeth hence difficult for them to pucker their lips for you, so I suggest you go for the younger ones or if you insist otherwise, ensure that the older ones are wearing their dentures ????

I would like to read more thoughtful responses to OP's question which I think highlights an important cultural difference I wish I could explain.  

Perhaps it's their way of saying you need to check your breath?

This response actually supports the OP's observation: Thai women (right or "wrong") do not generally kiss or engage in foreplay.  Either it is culturally unacceptable or redundant.  Maybe the question to ask is not "why don't Thai women want to do it?" but "why do Westerners?."  OneMoreFarang is right in suggesting that kissing and foreplay have developed as part of the Western culture of romance.  Since at least the days of courtly love, Western experience of sex has been filtered through stigma and sublimation.

I ended a fairly new relationship for this very reason.

Despite attempts to get her to explain it to me, she couldn't. All I got was "I'm shy"

I tried to get her to understand that without some kissing and general foreplay, it was not possible to get in the mood for what might follow.

They don't seem able to show their feelings, except anger when they are offended by something.

Hmmm....I've been with many Thai women and nearly all were happy to engage in passionate kissing and foreplay.  Not sure what the OP is doing wrong.  My advice is don't ask, just do it.

Well in that case forget the kissing and get her to use her lips in others ways, to get you revved up for action as you put it.  Just don't overdue the throttle though on the high performance models as you can experience blow back ????

I was with a girl who would not kiss on the lips but had no problems kissing another part of my anatomy. Hard to understand. 

I think you are getting with the wrong women. Certainly, a percentage of women from any country are just not that into sex, and foreplay. They may engage in it, because that is what they assume you want. And after awhile, not so much. That is why we really need to take our time getting to know someone, if we want to engage in a relationship with them. If it is good, it is only going to get better. And if there are issues, if she is frigid, if she is not into sex, if she is simply having sex to make you want her more, but does not enjoy it, or want it, these things will reveal themselves over time. 

 

If you meet someone, and she is not into kissing, is not affectionate, passionate, or playful, why would you stay with her? If she tells you she does not like to kiss, you just tell her she is not your gal! See ya! Just move on. It is part of the qualification process. Part of auditioning. I have been with my woman a very long time, and the sex is sort of routine at this point. But, she is very affectionate, we kiss, play, and have all kinds of fun and games with each other, all the time. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is just playful. But, it is utterly delightful. 

 

I have known guys who have settled down with women who will not have sex with them. Also, know guys who have women who are not into affection or kissing, at all. Why on earth would a guy with self esteem settle for someone like that?

At home all are kissing but a sniff is called a kiss . Are you talking about kissing her outside?

Newbie to this forum maybe but 16yrs in Thailand, married for 13 of them and owned a very popular bar in Pattaya for 5yrs.

In Thai culture, the sniff kiss is considered more appropriate. I'm guessing the OP doesn't find being sniffed sexy.

Kissing, foreplay, flirting, dating only make sense in societies where sex has to be won.  Where sexual access can be taken for granted (because of one's status, commercial payment or parental/official arrangement), there is  likely no interest is tentative, experimental steps.

Well of course kissing in Thailand is generally a sniff kiss. So I guess that gives some clue as to their feelings about mouth to mouth. As for foreplay and proper passionate sex had some of my best and most boring experiences here. In my experience, sadly the more balanced....quieter, better educated, better personality women here seem to be the biggest duds. Govt workers, teachers etc. Only in my experience of course, yours may be different. Had quiet a few who see it more as a duty. 

 

If you want an out of control, super hot performer the crazier the woman the better lol. One of life's cruel ironies and perhaps why the Thai guys have mia noi's. The reliable, quiet agreeable wife to take care of the home and kids and the other for fun. Most of the village type country girls I have had off the charts. Even P4P girls here seem to can't get enough and you can't beat experience. Had a few duds with them too but most I find aren't jaded at all. I asked a bar girl once if she didn't get bored with sex and she said no...it same eat. Only boring if get same same every day. I think they actually get addicted to it on some level. As far as older unattractive guys doesn't seem to phase them. I am sure they would much prefer to have some hot young fit Thai guy but sex seems to be more a physical sort of thing for theses women where for us perhaps more cerebral, thinking all sorts of dirty thoughts lol...where as they are "you rub this feel good". Like I said though one of Gods cruel ironies. Usually good performers don't make good life partners.
