Did something that is not "translatable" for living abroad.  No digital nomad stuff here.

I never worked "back in my home country" - I left straight after graduation. 

Geologist - metals exploration & mining.

Teach. Started in junior/senior high school, then on to university (current position). It is a great job, about 20 weeks' holiday a year, some paid jaunts to "conferences", and free coffee. What more could a man ask for?
