Same experience for me at Phyathai 2 on 28/7.  Had a 14:00 appointment, walked in to the hospital at 12:00 and walked out, jabbed with AZ, at 28 minutes past. 

Pretty impressive.

Have to respond to this. On their instructions emailed PM 18 May ( don't have pink ID) No response. Rang subsequently "no have will ring back"

Went for my usual blood test last Wednesday. Why no Vaccine or appointment for vaccine? "Fully booked" Why didn't you respond to e mail- and reminder and telephone call? At this point admin staff walked away and wouldn't discuss any more.

Update on Pran Buri in Prachuabkhirikhan.  Nui, next door and Dieter's wife, says that Sinovac is being offered to foreigners at Pran Buri Hospital, a government hospital.  Another near neighbor, Rhenxxxxx,

got his vaccine already.

 

Personal note: Our trip to Bangkok is canceled.  We always stay at the sister-in-law's house in Lat Phrao. She said for us not to come as she feared the virus would infect us.  Her household's four members have been vaccinated, two fully and two partially.

Received first dose of Sinovac at Chun, Phayao hospital on 4 Aug.  All vey efficient and organised, but many nurses taking information struggled with a farang not speaking much Thai, but all in good humour and they tried hard o speak English.  Arrived a vac. centre, local government hospital at 13;00 and jabbed at 16;30.  had to wait 30 mins before release.  Second appointment for Astra-Zeneca on 3rd Sept.

Booked by wife using Line App and help from nurses at local clinic in our village.  

I was only farang at hospital, but no charge.  it appeared that most appointments need Thai ID card to check in.  I had to use my Tambian baan, (yellow book,)

Blood pressure and general health history checks  carried out.  I am over 60 and in reasonable health.

Wife also given Sinovac Jab, and similar appointment fro second A-Z jab in Sept.

So far, no adverse reactions from vaccine.

 

I am told that local Private hospital (Phayao Ram) is taking booking for Moderna vac. in Oct and asking for payment, 6000B, in advance, when booking.

 

Hoping that this will be the start or a return to sanity and freedom to travel

The problem is Moderna the manufacture has already said it wont be here this year. They ordered to late

arrive about 0915 and it was just a complete joy. After quickly checking my passport I was taken to an uncrowded area where I waited for about 20 minutes. Once my number was called, proceeded upstairs to another uncrowded area and was quickly porcessed and jabbed (AZ). Was given an appointment for October and asked to wait 15 minutes for side effects. Didn't have any so left. Took a total of 50 minutes and was easy, organised and hassle free. 10 out of 10.
Felt no side effects until the next day when my arm felt like Mike Tyson had done a practice session but after a couple of pain killers everything was good. Woke up today to another sore arm but really not that bad.

On August 5, I received Sinovac with my staff at paradise park in Sri Nakarin, Bkk. This was through work social security. I was no. 580 and among the last, so over 600 there.

 

I'm 52, not obese, no health issues, physically at least.

 

I was there several hours, but it was efficient enough, with well organized distancing etc.

 

No side effects or pain, hardly felt it.

It struck me that the actual process of vaccination could be speeded up if the Blood Pressure checks were dropped.Obviously they do no harm and nobody would object (I certainly didn't) but I wonder what real purpose they serve.I don't believe they are done in the UK.

Also the only question needed to be asked is "Which arm?" - and that can also be done via sign language. The whole questionnaire period is a waste of (precious) time.

Monday 9th August 21, appointment for 1500hrs at Samithivej hospital Sriracha, we actually arrived at 1400hrs, walked to the Wellness department, filled in a form mainly concerned with medical history & whether I had been in contact with any known covid cases, once that was done I was told to take a seat ( no blood pressure check, bonus  ) just got me bum on the chair and told to go in get the jab, sit next door for 25 mins, have some water & then out the door till November ????

 

That was via Thailand intervac by the way, I registered as soon as the link became available.

 

Good luck everyone, it's getting better slowly but surely. ????

That's just Thai style, they always do it. I go to a skin specialist to get freezing on skin spots, every time they check my BP, my weight & my height.

That's my point - rituals which have become institutionalized and embedded.I've seen the same reluctance to extemporize and abandon traditional practice in many aspects of Thai life.In a pandemic the process needs to be streamlined and unnecessary elements cut out to ensure maximum throughput.At least height and weight aren't being checked!

It was being asked and recorded on forms used at Phyathai 2 Hospital in June.

Astrazeneca. Registered on there website last month.

Taxi from Pattaya to Bangkok no problems no Checks and back again. 

Not busy when I arrived this morning early at 12.00  

Finished by 1.00pm had my blood pressure checked on arrival a little high after walking up the stairs to the hospital.  Filled in all the forms and then given my injection. Had to sit in a nice chair for about 30 min then I was taken for another blood pressure test all back to normal so I was given my appointment for Nov.   So all very well done to all the staff at Medpark hospital.

Date 19/08/21 at BPH, Pattaya. Choice of AZ/Pfizer and I chose AZ. 2nd jab due early November - 12 weeks.

 

This was organised by BPH for their registered patients with an instant confirmation of appointment date, via a link provided by Pattaya News, and follow-up SMS the day before. As it happened, also received an SMS, same day, from BPH as part of the Expatvac scheme, this for Pfizer at Central Festival also on 19th. But I had preference for AZ so passed on this.

 

BPH experience was excellent with an orderly walk through of the process. Arrived about 12.30 (for 1pm) and finished just after 2pm, including the 30 minute after jab wait.

375 foreigners from a wide variety of countries were vaccinated in Udon on Monday, 23 Aug.  I read about the offering on udonmap on Friday afternoon....went to the Ministry of Health office in downtown Udon, showed them my and my wife's US passport, and later in the day received a phone call to show up at Rahjaphat University on Monday.  Everyone received Pfizer vaccine, as well as a follow up shot scheduled for 13 Sept.  

Apparently, the office was taking names for a later vaccination date on Monday......not sure if they're still offering the same.

To the best of my knowledge, there was no other formal notification of this vaccination effort.......had I not seen it late on Friday on udonmap, I wouldn't have known.

I should add to my post above:  While we had to fill out a simple one page form at the health office that asked about health conditions, I stated "none".  We are both 71.  

No visa checks, no medical confirmation required, no yellow book or pink id required.

3 hours to get in and get vaccinated and leave

One of the humorous highlights is when the announcement came on, if your here for a vaccination SIT DOWN, if your with someone and not getting a vaccination GET OUT.

I was on the outside corner and a line of thai wife's/girlfriends came streaming past me and the noise level dropped dramatically.

Long hot wait but worth it. Hope they have Sept 13 a little better organized

Just got Az dose 2 at Bang Sue Grand.

 

I originally got a 16 week appointment from Siriraj, they were no help when checking if a new appointment at 12 weeks was available.

 

Eventually my step-son sorted a new time and place using the Mor-Prompt App (I couldn't even log on) which is actually at 11.5 weeks, I'll take that. He also sorted one for a mate who I met at Siriraj, who interestingly got a text with a new date yesterday, he came to Bang Sue ???? 

 

Very well organised with lots of English speaking staff.

 

No queue at 10.15 (early for 11.00 appointment), straight in, follow the big numbered signs.

 

Even live music in the "wait to see if your arm falls off" area.

 

Out by 11.05, hardest part was finding the way back to the MRT station ????

An announcement was made over the village PA that villagers who were 18+ should attend the amphur on Monday 2nd Aug for vaccination. The rollout plan was Sinovac first dose followed by AZ 2nd dose 3 weeks later. All my family including me went. I was told that I could not be vaccinated that day and would be vaccinated later, the excuse was that there was "no paperwork" for me. My family all got Sinovac. On Sunday 22nd August my wife got a call to say that I should attend the amphur when they went for their second dose on Monday 23rd August. We got there at around 8:15 am and just after 11am we had all been vaccinated with AZ. Only AZ was being administered that day because the event was really only for 2nd doses.

I reckon about 450-500 people were vaccinated that day. My second dose is scheduled for November 15th. I've been quite lucky really because my initial rejection meant that instead of a Sinovac/AZ "cocktail" I've I ended up with AZ/AZ jabs. 

 

I also registered with Buriram-IC.com and expatvac.consular.go.th. Yesterday I got an SMS from Buriram-IC.com saying "You have an appointment for your 1st dose vaccination at Buriram hospital. During the day 25-27 Aug 2021 (9 a.m.- 3 p.m). Sorry if you have been vaccinated". No reply from expatvac.
