Red Bull Boss latest: All members of NACC to look into 15 senior police and prosecutors' roles

Naew Na reported on the latest developments in the almost nine year old saga of the case of Red Bull scion Vorayuth Yoovidhya.

The man know as "Boss", now a fugitive of Thai justice living somewhere abroad, was involved in the September 2012 death of a senior police sergeant in the Thong Lo area of Bangkok.

The policeman on a motorcycle was dragged under the wheels of Boss's Ferrari. The billionaire and heir to the vast wealth of the Red Bull drinks empire fled Thailand in 2017.

Last year Thai PM Prayuth Chan-ocha was forced to backtrack and reinstate charges after they were dropped amid a huge public outcry.

Now the National Anti-Corruption Commission has decided that all of its 9 members will form a committee to investigate 15 people.

These include senior police and prosecutors involved in the case.

Many have claimed that corrupt officials have taken money and turned a blind eye to help Boss evade justice.

But those expecting any swift resolution to the latest inquiry will be disappointed.

They could take at least two years more to investigate under NACC rules and the law even allows for this to be extended for a further year if necessary, other media in Thailand reported.

The nine member panel was approved Monday.

So the case will be 11 or 12 years old, plus one year to deliberate and to write the report......

Oh please! This family could pay off Jesus and all the saints without denting the compound interest in the overnight money market. They'll pay these shinybums to <deleted> about until the statute of limitations expires on all charges, and that's that.

The ways to get rich-er quick here are almost infinite if youre born a wealthy Thai!

Born into wealth here, you won life's lottery, hands down. They'll endure for a thousand years. CCP will be long gone, this place will still be chugging along somehow, just like now.

Just arrest the arrogant <b*****d>

The only person no one is actually looking for is young, master Yoovidhya.  Everyone from the RTP to Interpol are making sure that they all search with Eyes Wide Shut as they count-down the weeks and months until the statues of limitations expire.

I believe the slain officer's family received the equivalent of approximately $3000.  That alone should tell you everything you need to know about all of these "people", and I use that word sparingly.

Just give him a 200 bht fine for speeding and another 200 bht fine for not wearing his seatbelt.

I think there is a few people dont want him back now, Ive said all along just arrest his mother she helped him all the way lets see if he's got the balls to come back

Well, get the empty envelopes ready ...... again; it's refilling time ????

He’ll be found very quickly back in Thailand once all the limitations and charges are dropped off throwaway Thailand and justice not the same T IT

I'm starting to get a very slight inclination they don't want him back... I could be proved wrong of course.

We have to remember he was here all along until 2017 when they were telling us they couldn't find him.

He's probably still in and out of the country on a private jet with total impunity.

It would be better that the NACC was investigated too... They all are a bunch of corrupt officials. One is helping the other one.How many times is this case already investigated and nothing will happen. So the whole web around this family and everyone involved should be fired, their money confiscated, and put in jail for the rest of their life. It should be an example for the rest of the country that criminals and the one who is helping them are really be punished

July 16/17/18 - British F1 GP at Silverstone with full capacity. He'll be there if you want to find him.

I'm waiting for them to charge the policeman (posthumously) with leaving the scene of a crime.

2 years should see enough time for the NACC committee to "fill their pockets" as well

& whilst that is going on more time for the statute of limitations to run out.

The family may have to spend another half a billion on ensuring it stays under the carpet.

All a waste of taxpayers money.

This boy ain't coming home & the police want it that way

Yes, Just issue a capture and return with a substantial reward and  amnesty.

a lot people will put there hand up.

It should have been suspended from the time from the time he skipped until his return to Thailand. The same rule should apply to ALL skippers. If they return the sentence should be doubled.

Not true. He paid them 3 million Baht which is a lot more than what you believe.

Maybe it’s time to boycott Red Bull products, including F1’s Red Bull racing team, money talks????

the loss of Thailand sales would not affect the Red Bull share price in the slightest.

Plus, seems to me that so many senior/junior cops are involved in 'big tea money' that nobody will ever allow them to be identified or charged.

Because it might well mean dozens of cops would be dismissed or jailed and make Thailand look like a 5th world country with a police force and judiciary which has less than zero credibility.
