Can someone enlighten a confused old man. I have taken a photo of both my main passport page and the visa page, but the application will only allo0w me to place one photo in the space allotted. If I try and put both, one just deletes the other.

It is not certain that one does delete the other. The second scan does replace the first one on screen but it doesn't necessarily mean the first scan has been deleted. The first scan may have already been uploaded before the second scan is.

Yes, all correct.

But after half a dozen failed attempts (data cannot be verified) and giving up she received a Registration Successful email anyway.

I feel you, I first failed 5 times got it on the 6th. Few hours later got an email into each failed attempt to complete the form ????

I live in Pattaya, so I'm wondering where my vaccination appointment is going to be? If it's in Bangkok I'll cancel and wait for the opportunity to do it here.

supposed to be in the province you live in, arrangements to be made on your behalf at a hospital in your province.  That is what was explained in an email received by someone who successfully registered.  The email for some reason are taking a very long time to be sent out to the applicants.

He hasn't received his appointment yet.

I was using "you" in the general sense meaning have they ( The Thai Government) stated what type of vaccine would be used for those registering on this new site ?  All clear now and does anyone have the answer to that question pls ?

I have a question.

We (my Thai wife and myself) registered at our local Village Hospital (Anaamai) around 1-2 months ago. They did the registration for the both of us via their Computer on a Government Website.

How is this different?

It quite clearly states "A new platform for COVID-19 vaccine registration for foreign residents of all age groups in all provinces in Thailand will be available on 1 August 2021 at 11.00 a.m"

I registered although inserting my age was a bit tricky. I live in Nakhon Sawan and the reply states I’ll be vaccinated at a hospital nearby and have to reply to email confirming appointment ASAP or loses my appointment.

If you're on a computer, highlight one picture, press ctrl and highlight the other picture. You can drag both pictures into the box on the form.

Does the application then display both scans?

Tried another email, worked straight away, registered!

Do we know what they are looking to pump in to the arms of successful registrants?

They have to look in the fridge and see what is left, they had a power out yesterday and most of the labels fell off ????

Seriously though I don’t think anyone knows but most are hoping it’s the Pfizer from the US.

After successful submission of the requested data and receipt of the “Registration SUCCESS” message, is another confirmation email sent?  Or, is the success screen the end of registration?

I believe that's the end. Now you just wait for your appointment by email.

... check your email including spam folder, I got a 'successful' email stating the same info as the end-page above ...

This is the email someone got upon successful registration (note emails have been taking a very long time to arrive, hours even).  Before receiving the email I guess you will get a screen message saying you have successfully registered.

You have successfully registered for the FIRST dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

Your registration for the FIRST dose of COVID-19 vaccination is successful.
Once available appointment slot is sent to your email, please confirm within 24 hours.
Failure to confirm within 24 hours will result in the cancellation of your preregistration.
For those residing in provinces other than Bangkok and neighbouring provinces (Nakorn Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan and Samut Sakhon), the Ministry of Public Health will assign a vaccination site in your area. Your vaccination allocation will be provided according to priorities set by the Ministry of Public Health, i.e. age group, vulnerability, high risk zone e.t.c

In its a lot of required paperwork.  Doctors notes.

They need to make this simple.

Probably just Sinovac so I don't mind missing it.

Honestly it's my own fault.

I left my passport with my agent this weekend. I should have had taken a picture of my "O" visa beg I mailed it.

I also don't have a doctor's certificate for being too fat.

Other than that I hope everyone got a chance to sign up.

Good luck.

But it didn't state what vaccine type you would be receiving did it ?

Well it appears as if farangs might be different to Thais. In another thread I said am to be vaccinated on this Tuesday and assumed that it would be Sinovav as was given to the FIL earlier this week to be followed by AZ in 3 weeks. The wife now tells me that that she was told both vacs would be AZ. This does not help you but maybe you fret for no reason.

Possibly this may be different in that it might involve distribution of 150,000 doses of the Pfizer donation made by the US.  Depends on whether you give credence to this posting on the MFA site:

Protonmail worked. My other earlier attempts to register all got an email reply after a few hours.

RAZZ

Just got a response to one of my earlier attempts using my email address which failed! That is 7½ hours later. No full stop in the address.

There is hope for everyone then. ????

I am sure I will be directed to Yala (from Sisaket in Issan)

Guaranteed not to get vaccinated that way

I suspect you are using a phone rather than a computer. We were talking about a computer.
