Police seize illegal sex toys in Bangkok

This always cracks me up.  They sell these things out in the open on the streets in Bangkok and every once in a while they have a raid. Kind of like the sex trade. It's "illegal", but there's an occasional "raid".

Nice to see the fine men and women of the Thai police are keeping us safe!

So great to see them doing real police work, and protecting the nation from such dangers. The Thai people are no doubt very proud of their cops.

What a joke, the truth is that folks (any county) can easily/cheaply/quickly make most of these products at home.

Still taking away happiness for some.

In the small and highly judgmental mind of a fake puritan, song, dance, fun, drink, nudity, toys and sex are all things to be discouraged.

Of course all but the 1% base he has remaining know what a phony he is, and just how mindless all of this purification nonsense is.

There is no need for sex toys in a country known world-wide for its sex industry.  That said, the markets are full of a variety of fruits and vegetables in a multitude of sizes which can be purchased both legally and inexpensively.

THailand, all over the world known for the sexindustry has a law that sextoys are illegal... I suppose in the law is written that only living materials are allowed.....to protect the industry

I have had an unsubstantiated theory since first visiting Thailand that the laws dealing with toys or porn was an effort to restrict this so as to encourage employment … if you get my drift.

I wonder how the poor guys feel, having to stand behind graphic displays of sex toys as if they were selling them.

Ahh I have just had a thought

1. Confiscated Items are resold at auction

2. Thai police officers get 50% of resale value of confiscated items

THEY ARE SELLING THEM THIS IS THE ADVERT
