Chiang Mai Man Found Dead in Pickup Truck in Chonburi Cassava Field
Picture from responders. A 34-year-old man from Chiang Mai was found dead in his pickup truck in a cassava field near a rural road in Chonburi. The discovery was made by locals and reported to the police at 16:55 on January 14. Pol. Lt. Prakasit Paladetch, an investigator from Huai Yai Police Station, received the report and informed his superior, Pol. Col. Atthapol Ittayophasakul, before leading a team of officers and rescue volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation to the scene. The incident occurred near a large bush in the cassava field, located off the Khao Mai Kaew-Ban Dan Phajon Road in Ban Huai Khai Nao, Moo 4, Khao Mai Kaew Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District. At the scene, a black Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck with its license plates removed was discovered. Inside, the body of Mr. Wisut, 34, was found on the driver’s seat, wrapped in a red blanket. Nearby, the removed license plates, numbered from Chonburi, were placed on the passenger seat along with a phone displaying the name “My Beloved Gig.” In the back of the cab, officers found a charcoal stove, its contents reduced to ash after the fire had burned out. Local resident Mr. Kamrai, who discovered the scene, told police that he noticed the truck parked in the area earlier in the morning, with someone sitting in the driver’s seat. Initially, he assumed the person was asleep. However, by evening, he observed the vehicle still parked in the same spot with the driver in the same position. Suspicious, he approached the truck, called out, and received no response. He then alerted neighbours and contacted the authorities. Pol. Lt. Prakasit stated that the cause of the man’s apparent suicide remains unclear. Investigators are waiting to question close acquaintances of the deceased. The body has been sent to the Police General Hospital’s forensic institute for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. -- 2025-01-15 -

Residence certificate with Tourist Visa?
I don't know for other provinces but the CoR from Phuket immigration will mention the reasoning of the CoR and we had a few repports of banks refusing the CoR as it mentioned that the CoR was for another reason then opening a bank account. So please provide the correct reasonoing for which the CoR is required. The condo guy is required to do a TM30 report within 24 hours of arrival regardless how many days the person is staying on the address. when informing the immigration office about this they will normally call him and inform him about his obligations. -
