Similar to 'Five Days at Memorial'. A man (Paul Walker) is stranded alone in a hospital with his newborn during Hurricane Katrina. 

 

 

Just downloaded and watched a movie called, "Prisoners" and it's nothing to do with prisoners behind bars per se, more to do with a kidnapping.

 

The movie was made in 2013 and stars Hugh Jackman, Jake Gillenghal and Terrence Howard amongst others and I may have seen snippets of it before, however was so pleased that I watched it because it's different and exciting, and the ending is one that I would never have guessed in a million years.

 

Also watched recently released movie, "Prey" and its sort of prequel to the "Predator" movies, set in America in the early 1700s and features members of the Comanche nation, and although not outstanding, IMO it was a good watch.

A great TV series is The Runaway based on the East End gangster series  written by Martina Cole. She also wrote The  Take which was was made into a tough  criminal  thriller starring Tom Hardy.

The Runaway is brutal and uncompromising about East end working class life and the violence of the gangsterism that is the way  out. Thus its not just sensationalist but has a bit of depth. Excellent  casting, great wardrobe and solid production  values underpinned by orthodox  editing style make this  a good  but underrated and little known series. Not to  be confused with other productions of the  same name.

I didn't notice  the detour into silliness and enjoyed the whole  series and look forward to the next one.

Actually he is talking about an entirely different issue than what a few members here have been complaining about AD NAUSEUM. 

Maher is right about this, but again, a completely different issue. 

The best actor for the role should be cast regardless of the actor's identities. 

I've just watched season 1 of Caliphate (Kalifat), which was really good and very entertaining IMHO. Well worth a look. It's been mentioned by a few others already. I watched it on tinyzonetv.

A couple struggling to adapt to changes in their lives. Ian and Emma return from holiday in Spain and have to get used to the ways in which their career prospects have radically diverged since Ian was made redundant.
