Trump under investigation for potential violations of Espionage Act

Innocent of what? He has not been charged with anything so of course he's innocent. With every second that passes the likelyhood he will be charged with anything at all lessens further. That they returned his passports lessens the already tiny chance they will charge him.

Looks more and more like a desperate political gambit. Hobble the man they know they can't beat in a fair election. But it isn't working out like they hoped, is it?!

So now people's thoughts are subject to the strictures of the legal system? That it makes belief impossible?  Are these the same people who chanted lock her up? Are you going to claim that they believed Hillary Clinton was innocent too?

Did you read that many layered entire link? Because it is more complicated than 'someone says so'. At this point unless there is something very concrete/specific showing something illegal like transferring sensitive material to the Saudis In a quid pro quo exchange with his son in law, Jared who received a "loan" from Saudi  Arabia - then this episode is going nowhere.

Even if the declassification argument works, a big "if", it still doesn't justify his possession of items that were supposed to be given to NARA. It is a crime to keep these items, Even thought the ignoramus claimed that Obama did the same thing. Which is untrue.

He may end up with a brand new fresh from law school public defender, which he will then say did not provide him adequate counsel .  We shall see what occurs when and if a trial ever commences and if he is charged.

Used to think that.  But after the search warrant, not so sure anymore.  Trump isn't running in 2022, so AG Garland may have some wiggle room.  Because of his meticulous nature, he's going to make sure that every detail is covered.  Which means if Trump is indicted, the evidence will be irrefutable.

I still think that he will wait until after the midterms.

While you are likely correct. I look at the totality of his adult life: there is NOTHING---from his name to his 'charity' that he did not try to monetize.

False. Trump was the President out of love for his country and his sense of patriotic duty. Thus he refused to keep his salary and donated it all to worthy causes. Hardly the action of a grifter, is it? So now you know, your "there is NOTHING---from his name to his 'charity' that he did not try to monetize." is a false statement.

This comes as no surprise.

Remember he appointed "Grossberger" from the Stir Crazy movie (or a stunning look-alike) as AG? That guy (Whittaker) had handled one single case as a lawyer (regarding a rent dispute between a mall kiosk and the mall owner), plus the guy was schlepping a special toilet with a lower water level for 'well hung men" as well as pushing investments in a Time Travel Machine.

That made the Keebler Elf Sessions that he fired look like Justice Brandeis.

????

Political posturing. All the money went to federal agencies.

He certainly didn't follow through with his claimed donations before he was POTUS and then suddenly stopped six month before the end of his presidency as there were no more political points to be gained. So he did keep some of his salary. Certainly keeping all of his pension.

But further to that....

Quote

Donald Trump reported making more than $1.6 billion in outside revenue and income during his four years as President of the United States, according to a review of his financial disclosures by CREW. While Trump publicly took credit for donating his taxpayer-funded salary, that ended up being less than 0.1% of the revenue and income he disclosed during his presidency. Far from being a sacrifice, the donation was merely a fig leaf to cover up four years of brazen corruption.

Shall we also talk about what Jared and Ivana made whilst they were supposed to have full time jobs in the administration?

People with a sense of patriotic duty don't invent bone spurs to avoid performing their patriotic duty.
Compare the 18 months of his salary that he donated, to what he grifted/is grifting as POTUS.
He got a good return on his investment...one of the few times.

This argument has been used by either you or one of your sect multiple times, yet it keeps getting regurgitated and consequently shot down.

Politics aside, (remember Trump was a registered Democrat first), Trump is a disgusting human being and should not be allowed anywhere near other peoples money or public service.
I am amazed that, when taking into account all the books and documentaries etc that show the type of human being both he and most of his family are, people still vainly try and support him.

Now we have unsupported false accusations that Trump faked a disability. Have you seen his medical records? I note his cautious gait, suggesting that he still has bonespurs or hallux rigidus. Not pleasant by any means.

All this mocking of Trump for not having served, makes me wonder what mr 81m votes from the basement's military record was. They couldnt be so hypocritical..

His goons grabbed his x- rays from the doctors office , (just like his scholastic records), so they could not be reviewed. As you have already been told, Trump could not even remember what foot he had spurs in, and claimed that they must have gone away, (spurs need surgery). The daughters of the podiatrist have stated that their father gave the false diagnosis as a favour to his landlord, Fred Trump.
His "gait" is most likely due to the fact that the narcissist wears lifts in his shoes to try and appear taller than he really is.

That is just what he does when he impersonates somebody/anybody. Fake news to say he was specifically mocking a retarded person. If memory serves I think he mocked some army guy in the same speech with the same motions.

Trump does not mock disabled persons. Trump is continually mocked by the left for his hand size and bone spurs. Very unfortunate behaviour.

Just the facts. Seems like every irrational hater of Trump can't give genuine reasons why they hate him, just like they can never list the crimes he's guilty of that justify the death penalty. They hate him because of a continuous false narrative.

Still, he's a marvellous distraction for a party that has led the country into uneccessary wars and disasterous economic crisis.

We went over this not too long ago.

Are you really unaware of how Trump monetized the Presidency and post-Presidency?

After the election and well before taking office Trump doubled the admission fee at Mar-a-Lago from $100k to $200k, then announced that it would be the "Winter White House".  https://www.cnbc.com/2017/01/25/mar-a-lago-membership-fee-doubles-to-200000.html  Lot's of people were going to Mar-a-Lago to curry favor with him, and maybe get a peak at some classified even in the early days.  Of course people were also staying in his other hotels, also to curry favor.

Trump's only legislative accomplishment (which was actually Mitch McConnell's doing) was a tax cut that more than compensated for his PR stunt of forgoing his salary.  There's also all the people staying at his hotels and Mar-a-Lago to curry favor with him.

He played the Presidency in a manner that paid him for the PR stunt salary donation many times over.

Now he's playing the post-Presidency in an even more profitable manner.  His non-existent "Election Defense Fund" has taken in hundreds of millions from gullible supporters  https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/matters-trumps-election-defense-fund-didnt-exist-rcna33326  and he's now using his latest fiasco to solicit more money.

You are truly blinded by Trumpiness if you think Trump ever intended to lose money by running for President.

I don't think the word facts and your assertions should be used in the same sentence.
Now you have resorted to using patronizing platitudes in an effort to stay relevant in this discussion.
