If they don't sell and stay boarded up for months on end you have a point. But, where there are sellers there will always be buyers for these types of places, so just keep your eye out for a new owner and a new name for the premises.

Damn, thought it was about Goth go-to bars.

BTW does anyone know any Goth bars?

I don’t think goth is very popular here. Maybe juju nightclub on soi Baukao??

I'm over the darkside, and there is a new bar opening up every week.

A new bar seems to open every day on Soi Chaiyapoon.

This is not a "Pattaya is dying" topic, it's just about bars that are closed or for sale. Even in High Season, some bars close.

Not necessarily! There are many reasons to close and sell and not just because of failure!

Owner may have family problems and needs to move on.

Police may have banned the owner.

Owner may have died.

Owner may have moved to another bar etc!

This topic isn't about why bars close, it is just a listing of bars that close, for whatever reason.

News Flash... hundreds of Pattaya bars Not For Sale!

Great. You can create a topic called "Bars Not For Sale". But this topic is about bars that have closed or are for sale.

The title of the OP does not say that and why quote me since I did not initiate "why bars close"?  I was responding to a previous post!

It can mean absolutely nothing  negative if a bar is for sale.  I know several owners who have upgraded to bigger spaces or sold for personal reasons. 99% reopen especially in the prime areas.

This topic does not imply that Pattaya is dying, or why any particular bar has closed. It is merely a listing of bars that have closed, or are for sale.

FWIW, I expect the upcoming High Season to be the busiest ever.
