Any evidence that he has not already done a runner?  Now enjoying Singapore or Bali?

  • This guy is going to be deported or be milked for everything they can get their hands on. I’m hoping for both.  Whatever happens, a change of address is on the cards.

  • Frankly, Thailand and especially Phuket deserves a big clean up. Whether Thai or foreign construction companies/ investors, Phuket and its once paradise beaches are being destroyed. Too many crooks ,

Kicking harmless people in their back is not acceptable under any circumstances. Personally I would like to see this Swiss thug deported, but he apparently has the means to buy his way out of the situ

OK so again this is such big news a scumbag alleged to of kicked a women there's no markings on her body and no video as proof only her word,,,This is disgusting no man should ever hit a woman but it again asks what's more important this act or the drunken Russian woman that killed two kids and nothing has been done about that nor have their been any more reports or protesting,, just two dead bodies to be shipped home

There was a video clip of the incident a couplee of days ago presumably taken by him where he is approaching the two sitting there then the video goes all over the place as though he tripped or kicked one of the people sitting there hard to say from the clip!

What a load of BS.

Yes his a bad guy.

But Thais are the bad guys when it comes to crime.

What a total overreaction,  stirred up by angry Thais on the internet.

Your a joke Thailand, over this one. :bah:

Ps, It will be business as usual today, for all the Bad Shomchai's and all the bad police in Thailand, doing far, far worse things. :bah:

This may be, but it will also be the start of a payment plan he never thought about.

The brown envelope manufacturers will be rubbing their hands and laughing

Well I am no fan of anyone who actually "kicks" someone especially a male towards a female no matter the race/foreigner/local and he should probably pay a fine. BUT, I am sure that he THOUGHT it was private property as that real estate office apparently has made some folks think that the beach was private when it according to the Phuket city officials is a public beach and many other people living there have erected something illegal on that public beach  Guess the Swiss guy will end up moving anyway since he was misinformed about the beach.  I really have no idea if all this is true or just made up but it seems to me to be overblown while really serious things that happen here are totally ignored by the masses.

The swiss guy probably regrets, not having installed sprinklers on the land near the beach.

I would have thought if he accidently tripped and his foot hit the doctor's back

that the audio would have him apologizing  to the doctor for being clumsy instead the audio states Get the F**K Off here

What a load of absolutely blown out-of-proportion garbage.

Could anybody imagine in any other country where the Prime Minister has to make a statement about such trivial nonsense?

Just talking about Thais behaviour abroad, last week at Southwark crown court a 42-year-old Thai woman was jailed for 4.5 years for selling and distributing meth and other drugs. She and her Thai friends were also involved in prostitution and money lending.

Her excuse?

She came from a broken family in Thailand, was sold into debt bondage and was doing this only so that she didn't have to prostitute herself.

So, let's make no mistake here with all the pathetic ' Thai outrage '  (I have witnessed plenty of Thai women prostituting themselves in the UK), about the behaviour of PLENTY of Thais abroad.

Taiwan, Korea, EU, and many more, not only the UK, are tightening up on Thais being granted visas of all types, because of how many behave in foreign countries, be it through drugs trade, prostitution, working illegally, etc

The Thai PM, while he is at it, could remind the very same authorities of the hit-and-run of the Chinese tourist who got killed last week.

They apparently "forgot" to look at the plate, despite having had the car parked nearby. Same procedure might be advised in connection with the death of police officer Wichiang Klanprasert in 2012; the sweet heart Verayuth Yoovidhya of the Red Bull clan, is on the run ever since despite being innocent until proven differently.

Thais are outrageous racists, most hate the dirty farang and alien but kiss the a"*ç%*"s of the latter for monetary reasons.

Maybe that is, what the Thai PM would need to be told and address - in the same context like dealing with this Swiss fellow who is, in the eyes of all Thais, already guilty before he ever faced the bench. If guilty, deal with it according to Thai law - everything else is - as proven in all these cases - just a big joke and a farçe of the premier order!

I am really wondering what is going on in Phuket. I can't imagine that a foreigner hitting a Thai woman can make such big problem. There must be something else beneath it. According to my Thai partner, are the people Phuket bored with foreigners, as many hotels and houses are built at the seaside and everybody claims private beaches. Sellers are not allowed anymore on the beach and several other rules.. I believe that is surely a thing that is true. But to blame one person for it is a bit too much. I don't agree he has hit the woman but if I read today Aseannews I see a lot of topics and also several days already, while in Korat in Terminal 21 was a shooting and almost nobody cares about that. So why is hitting a woman so far worse than a shooting with several people wounded?? That keeps me asking What is going on in Phuket??

It is certainly not because Thais show some bad behaviors, that it would entitle foreigners to get away with bad behaviors,

be it against Chinese or Thai people.

Something starting with 'it is not because', identifies a following sophism, a fallacy.

No sympathy for this guy, particularly because the targets were two women, and of different nationality.

And so it is, justice here does not have a flavor of fairness....

All those thais protesting on the the beach aren't all squeaky clean that's for damn sure.....

Or a Thai not as Educated as this Doctor.

She is not an official doctor yet... she has not finished her study

I only hope he treats his elephant wards better than he does his fellow humans.

The fact that he picked on the wrong woman is what makes this story so delicious. He assumed she was a peasant. She was not. And she has a good father who did not appreciate his daughter getting kicked around by a scummy guy who thought he was above the locals.

Hopefully he will be held to account, and make to pay a steep price for his lack of manners and his lack of decency. Thailand just does not need worms like this guy.

Regardless, his days of treating the locals like dogs are likely over. Which is brilliant. I love it. Kudos to the locals for standing up to a toxic bully.

.....".....the force was looking at revoking visas and blacklisting foreigners who behave inappropriately on the island. Later, police sources ruled such a sanction out in Mr Uli’s case, at least for now.....".....Apparently he handed over the first well-filled brown envelope to the RTP:coffee1:

That is not what I said.. In another comment I wrote I don't agree with what he did, but they claim she is a doctor but is not finished yet. And besides that does it make any difference if she studying for doctor or was a cleaning woman?? For me the same you don't hit. and assault is a big word...

WtH does this have to do with the subject at hand?  Thai  woman in UK sells drugs ,Swiss man in Thailand assaults woman -?

Yep, give him a public flogging, hang him and then deport him.

Fascinating to see how a mob turns a [minor] misdemeanour into a crime. He might we be a dodgy character, and his business like most Farang charities, should be looked into, but in the case that triggers this outrage he caused only very minor bodily harm. I command the Dr. for that as she could have very easily have faked bruises. But any high school rugby player, after the first scrum of any game, has more to show, than what I have seen on the pic of her back.

So they’ve ruled out revoking his visa. Obviously money has changed hands🤨

You mean some of them protesting are foreigners trying to prevent locals from accessing their beach?

One wonders if it was a well-heeled and connected Thai hi-so that lived in that villa that kicked a westerner who was “moon watching” if we would be reading a different story.

Thailand - hub of mobs - the only thing is, I never hear of a mob outside the villas of any of the real criminals of this country.

Just now, Ben Zioner said:

They willingly play rugby.   Ummm  a misdemeanor is a crime.
