I've started watching, and enjoying, that series despite initial misgivings about formulaic lawyer shows. I hadn't realized it was the same author as Bosch!

His books are great as well

I read that the viewing figures for Dr Who were not so good when a woman took the part ,so the new Dr is a black gay man and his assistant is a young transvestite,wonder if they will have a wheelchair bound non binery Dalek as well?  So many boxes ticked,but then it is the BBC so they couldnt care less about viewing figures their revenue is guaranteed,.exterminate,exterminate????

Then you read wrong. After declining during the series with the previous two Doctors, viewing figures actually improved during Jodie Whitaker's tenure.

viewing figures for bbc as a whole are way way down ,so this being up is no real big deal compared with the figures DR Who used to get hers are dismal ,

yes but if it was so great people would still watch it ,,but they dont ,they go elsewhere , as they no longer want to watch the BBCs woke rubbish

I enjoy good sci-fi and thought I would check out the latest new series of StarTrek - Strange New Worlds.  This was a long way from good

Ordinary writing, bad acting  and cheap production design turned me off.  How many times can they resurrect the Enterprise? How many new worlds are still out there?

I switched off when I noticed the futuristic Enterprise medical center used folding camping stretchers identical to one I used about 20 years ago on fishing and prospecting trips.
