Thai-Visa-1170x724.jpg

To help try maintain social distancing in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Thailand, Thai immigration is reminding foreigners that 90 day reporting can be done online and by mail.

Online

There is a long running topic about 90 day reporting online here.

However, for those that are not aware, the online 90 day reporting service is available here: https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do - complete with online instructions and details other requirements

If you need assistance in using the online service, you can call the Immigration Services Hotline at 1178 or 1111

By mobile app

You can also complete 90 day reporting via the Android and iOS apps:

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/th/app/imm-eservice/id1464624948

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=th.go.immigration.immeService&hl=en_us

By mail

The requirements for 90 day reporting by mail are:

  • Photocopy of passport pages with following pages
    • front page showing name / surname / Passport No., etc.
    • current visa
    • last entry stamp of immigration
    • last extension of visa
  • Copy of arrival/departure card TM. 6 (front and back)
  • Previous notifications of staying over 90 days (if any)
  • Completely filled in and signed notification form TM. 47
  • Envelope with 5 Baht stamp affixed and return address of foreigner for the officer in charge to send back the lower part of form TM. 47 after having received the notification.
  • This part must be kept for reference and for future notifications of staying over 90 days.
  • 90 day reports by mail need to be sent by registered mail
  • Mailed report must be received within 15 to 7 days before the report date.

It is so straight forward, takes 10 mins to fill in info.Just make sure your info is the same as the info you provided when you applied for your visa and do it within 14 days of renewal date and not in the last 7 days before renewal date or it won't work.Works on most browsers now.

Does anyone know the exact, correct and complete address of Jomtien immigration?

Sometimes you don't get a email of approval, just check your status online.

I'm using a Mac Mini 6 with Safari. Their online is totally outdated if your comp isn't ay least 10 years old.

Both of my computers are less than 10 years old and both work using IE, Edge, and Firefox Nightly.

What about the 90 day proof of money in the bank? Is there a form to mail in?

It works on with Chrome on Windows 10.

For Safari you need to use a user agent. See: https://www.dummies.com/web-design-development/how-to-activate-user-agent-switcher-in-safari/ for internet explorer.

That has been mentioned multiple times in the almost 5 year old topic about online reporting.

Why should there be. It is only needed at a couple of immigration offices.

Ratchaburi Immigrants told me today by email I can not do a 90 days report by mail.  So I just mailed them this now let see what they say.

if it worked for everybody, that would be nice as it clearly does not for the majority

and this report thing is totally outdated but thailand wants to stick to useless <deleted>

tell me why in 2020, the whole IMMIGRATION <deleted> could not be done by passport of fingerprinting instead of 2 sets of many many copies

1900 baht per person, no other reason

No form, just send the cash and they will mail it back !!!!

meant  to be a joke.

It may not be obvious (and it's not very clear in the TI instructions), but the online 90-day report can only be done from 15 days before to 7 days before the due date.  If you wait until the last minute, you'll need to do it in person or by post.

Fixed now.

Thanks for fixing the link but the website is almost useless (also looks like it was designed and built about 20 yrs ago).

So basically, you get an endless loop. Should be a simple two clicks to get to a form to upload some docs and enter your info.

I'd love to do this online but the numpties can't do the simplest of web development. I guess I'm lucky being in a town in Isaan and not in Pattaya or Bangkok, and I only live about 10 min. from the Immigration office but boy, they could make everyone's life so much simpler if they could just build a simple web form.

Oh, there's also an Accept and Decline button but the Accept button does nothing and the Decline just closes the tab.

The Accept button does nothing until you tick to acknowledge you've read the T&Cs, then it'll take you to where you neeed to be.  Scroll down the middle box to get to the tick box.

Landing page (from link above) provides you with two links 1) http://www.immigration.go.th/ 2) http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/ the second of which redirects to the first link. (Since I don't live in Bangkok that doesn't matter.) Oh, there's also an Accept and Decline button but the Accept button does nothing and the Decline just closes the tab. ????

You have to scroll down to the bottom the terms and conditions and tick a box to get the accept button turn blue.

Thanks for all three replies, re the "terms and conditions" checkbox. The only problem for me was (again, crappy UI design) there was no scroll bar in that frame and the text ended without any truncation. So first, it was not visually obvious to scroll down and second, there is text that simply says in essence, you need to check-in every 90 days and here's a link to do (which as I said previously, resulted in a continuous loop without checking the non-visible confirmation box).

Again, thanks for the tip but absolutely ridiculous, non-intuitive web design that would have prevented me from using this mode had I not been a member of TVF. (It would also help Immigration a lot too.)

One last question, what kind of confirmation do you get when you do this online. As I said before, I'm very close to my immigration office and the wait is usually only 15-20 min. max. so it's not too difficult for me to go there physically. However, it's nice to have this online option and I may just try it for my next check-in (in about 6 weeks).

Thanks again.

This thread is about 90 day reporting ????

Why do you pay 1900 Baht?

What if you choose to report online, say, 2 weeks before deadline but cannot get through? It may then already be too late to send the docs by registered mail since they should arrive 15-to 7 days before deadline. Am I wrong?

No proof of money is required for 90 day reports: If thats what you mean ???

These are all my online reports no problems doing them.
