Put a picture of the pm on facebook and shame him for not getting the vacs to the thai people. ( i forgot we not allowed do that ) It's not the lack of masks the thai should be worried about other countries are not wearing them because  they are not needed and the negative comments by people about  This  group not caring about Thai society well these people  need to look closer to home

THANK YOU! I ride a pushbike around Pattaya/Jomtien most mornings, wearing my mask like a dutiful farang. It doesn't block the flow of oxygen even when I'm huffing and puffing up that hill to Lake Mabprachan. I seethe when I see someone not wearing a mask. There's even one joker at the lake who wears no shirt as well. And they're ALWAYS foreigners. Fer cryin' out loud, what makes them think they're special?

Fancy wearing a mask while riding a bike! I certainly wouldn't. Masks are of no benefit outside in the fresh air. I only wear one in the supermarket or other enclosed spaces.

Well, once they've arrested all those dirty Farang - in and outside the sandboxes of the holy land - then carry on the good work among Khon Thai too. One in ten in Udon = no masks anymore and mentioning this to a lady inside Makro, the answer was "this Thailaaaannnn".

I got it, question is, if everyone else got it too ????

There are plenty of Thai people in Bangkok that do not wear masks. Nobody seems to care, but I guess that's different...

Where? Except from some homeless people it seems everybody is wearing a mask or two.

I saw some Thais walking around without masks in Bangkok (upper Sukhumvit area). Also the Grab and 7-Eleven Delivery motorbike-riders, riding on the pavement don't wear them. (One could give it a positive spin, of course. If they run you over, riding on the sidewalk, at least it will be easier to identify them...)

Plenty of Thais are not wearing masks on my walks around Bangkok but I have never seethed with anger and wanted to burn them at the stake. I can't stand these articles, mainly because they lead to farang hysteria about other farang. Yes the foreigners who weren't wearing a mask were wrong given that mask wearing is mandated by temporary pandemic law, so authorities should either remind them or fine them and move on. Singling foreigners out for special disciplinary treatment when Thais are guilty of similar offences is both xenophobic and racist behaviour, which is worse than the crime of not wearing a mask.

And how about all the men (it's always men, and so oat always Caucasians, why?) pretending to comply, but wearing their mask with the nose not covered?

Masks do help, a little, from evidence, but I rarely see foreigners without one in public. This is in Isaan. A few days ago, I did see a truck carrying 10 locals, and none had masks on, and all were within a foot of each other. I get Yahoo news daily, and hear what's going on around the world, daily. I also see local news and hear, translated, what they are saying, and have since Covid arrived here. People are being told what to do, and a lot are following the rules, but many more are still going about their daily routines, sitting close at meals, sharing sticky rice and drinking from the same glasses, like nothing's changed. I see at least 6 ambulances daily, where before I saw maybe one, and I'm sure they are Covid transports, although it can't be proven. Yet, with all the media coverage, here, at least in Sisaket and Ubon provinces, I see life going on as usual. So much fake and incorrect news, and no wonder they are dying in the hundreds daily here. They stop buses, and people in markets and 7-11's are still within a foot of each other. The farmers here are taking a heavy toll with all of this, and I'm seeing it firsthand. Two hanging suicides in the same village in less than a month. Every province with different rules and restrictions.

It emerged that they are people working on the island teaching yoga.

That begs the question who is taking yoga classes on Ko Phangan, right now.

Are they worse than all the sexpat retirees in Pattaya?

I was a hippy on KPN when they started the full moon parties and what a great bunch of people!

The geriatric beer singh/chang vest and cargo short crowd, often take exception to those who still have their youth and have managed to ride out  the pandemic at the beach.

Granted these alleged yoga folk are irritating and blithe, but ill take them over the misery and bitterness that permeates thaivisa anyday.

I know it is fashionable for expats to always have a go at their own, but have you ever wondered why you don't see news items about shaming Thai's for not wearing masks? In Pattaya I can tell you nailed on fact I see shed loads all the time, even ones serviving street food. But that is OK I guess.

Yeah so next time your outdoors, and someone is coughing - go up to them, open your mouth and tell them to cough straight into you. Really sniff that cough up. You shouldn't be worried because you're outdoors.

There are rules, and foreigners need to be more sensitive about the rules.

Personally i would deport the lot of them and send a message - sick of the arrogance of my fellow 'immigrants' here.

This is what I just don't get - it's the law! Arguing against a mandate because it insults your fragile sensibilities is the HEIGHT of arrogance. MUH FREEEEEEDOOOOOOOMMMMS!

Mask use prevents 20 percent less infections say the people that have studied the situation .

I am therefore ready to wear a mask when away from home . What ever the law may be .

These spoilt individuals are asking for problems .

You caught that, did ya? ????

Once the complete story comes out we will probably find that they have all been double vaccinated and are traveling together so they thought while together they dont need masks.

I think that we all did, except that I misread it at first - pull down briefs to eat your nuts.

The guys should be shamed for wearing those g** little ponytails.

They should abide by the rules.  Put on your face masks in public.

Any idiot who has a smartphone with camera can be a policeman now.
