The biggest laugh was when he was asked to surrender to save the honour of the police.

That's exactly the problem with this commission based policing. They either allow or encourage the problem, in order to eventually reap the greater reward. Why stop it initially if there's little to be gained?

I could never understand the principle behind bonuses...     You apply for a job, the  wage is stated, you take the job or you dont.   If you take it   you get the wage offered, if you work efficiently and effectively, you may get promoted, thats your reward.  Here in  crazy land, bonuses seemed to be handed out like Lao Kho at Songkran time.
