Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said today (Friday) that the incursion into Thai airspace of a Myanmar MiG-29 jet, which flew over Tak province yesterday, is not a big deal, noting that the Myanmar military has already offered an apology and that the two countries enjoy good relations.

After the incident, he said that the Thai military had talked with their Myanmar counterparts about the incursion and he, too, had discussed the issue, adding that the Myanmar military explained that they their pilot had no intention to infringe upon Thai airspace, but needed to make a turn, resulting in the plane to crossing into Thai territory.

The Royal Thai Air Force had scrambled two F-16 jet fighters, but the Myanmar MiG-29 was already back in Myanmar.

Their vehicle insurance companies.  But where was it reported that Thais were "strafed" by the Myanmar plane?

There are videos that have been posted in the other OP, and more on social media.  Many have been taken down by the Thai minders.  My GF has a video which was sent to her from family in Myanmar. Look at the other OP running. Here is one clip for you, since you never believe what I write. Apparently the video has been removed again.  You will have to go to the actual link through your browser.

He said: "It was okay, as they followed new Thailand-issued recommendations, and wore face masks when they entered Thailand's airspace..."

Reports on whether the junta jets dropped bombs while in Thai territory were conflicting, but a source within a guerrilla group fighting alongside the KNLA and KNDO told Myanmar Now that a shell did in fact hit Thailand, supporting testimony provided by a local source who told Thai media that his truck was damaged by shrapnel.

Just watched a news video of the PM giving his statements.  In the news piece they showed the school nearby that had also taken some rounds and the children, many of them running for cover.  This PM is a real piece of work, and I am sure if any Thai citizens had been killed he would be saying that it was Buddhas will.........what a true feces head.

"Myanmar military has already offered an apology and that the two countries enjoy good relations."

Well, the big deal is, that Prayut and his cronies have not undertaken anything to get their military brethren in the West back into their barracks to serve their country rather than raping, looting and ransacking it - again.

On the other hand, how could I be that ignorant, Prayut and his cronies managed to sit glued to the Horns of Plenty for the last 8+ years with no change in sight. Difference is, that the Thai army is not shooting their own people - for the time being. Pathetic, to say the least .............

The last turd the departing SPDC left in the toilet was a clause in the constitution they wrote which allowed the military to retake power at any time for any reason.

THAT is how a real fascist justifies a coup.

And who are the best friends of the current illegitimate govt?  China, Russia, Thailand and the Monarchy of Singapore (sic)

What they all have in common is a hatred of democracy and a love of power, control and self-enrichment.

Of course, a source of much needed income for the Burmese Junta:

Reference March 15 2022:

"Thai energy company PTTEP has said it will take over the running of Myanmar's vital Yadana gas field following the withdrawal of global giants Chevron and TotalEnergies in January. ............... The Yadana gas field in the Andaman Sea provides electricity to Myanmar and Thailand, one of a number of gas projects ............... make up Naypyidaw's single largest source of foreign currency revenue, generating more than $1 billion annually.

U turn dangers extended into border airspace. Hope pilot looked both ways!

Nah.....just a practice exercise to keep the forces fit for when they require to use such things on their own population.

The only reason why a military is needed and used here.

Charming.

And the new drones soon to keep an eye on what's going on as they don't get out from their ivory castles often.
