The rental shops should also be getting fined, If people don't have a license then they shouldn't be able to rent a bike

  • Strange there is no mention of Thai's being caught ....................LOL

The list of riders reads more like a mini-meeting of the UN. Probably accomplished just about the same.

Not just Bangkok.

Big money for the men in Brown......carry on

I'm guessing they don't realize that this forum and all news in Thailand is broadcasted to other countries, both online and by word of mouth, letting them know what goes on here. Tourism will continue to drop and hate crimes will continue to rise because of this information. Over a million Thais live in other countries and when people are targeted because of being a foreigner in Thailand, news travels fast.https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-family-on-scooter-in-fishing-village-andaman-coast-thailand-17666638.html?imageid=6619579D-A514-48EF-8098-85A0479090BF&p=10330&pn=1&searchId=32a9e17394f1b301d35a4f3d8750a0d4&searchtype=0

Not a chance in hell, stop the locals making a living... never.

The onus is on the foreigners to be legal, it's their fault for conning the rental shop.

However....the hundreds of Thais riding the wrong way won't be bothered....foreigners are all bad:) it seems

The Swedes are uncharacteristically underrepresented.

(Pheu those were big words). probably out busy kicking people.

It would help if the overall traffic arrests so that one can determine if in the overall scheme of things it was par for the course or a significant increase.

And what do they mean by arrested? were they ticketed, of are they languishing in jail?

Wasn't it a Swiss guy accused of kicking a Thai? And a Russian woman kicking a Thai?

Yep. Just another case of someone not knowing the difference between Sweden and Switzerland.

The ten all had their international licenses invalid in Thailand because the police only know Thai for the majority and don't know what it is.

Not sure? maybe it was a Russian guy kicking a Swede:tongue:

or the other way around.

By the way  is it Swiss or Swede or either? I have been thinking about this a lot.

Once they are arrested and fined, it is unlikely that any brown envelopes will be issued.

And I'm guessing they would not break the driving laws of their own country, and the people that hear of this will probably think they are idiots.
