  • I posted on the other thread (about businesses opening and closing) a few weeks ago about the Pulcinella Italian Risto-Pub that has opened in the former Punch & Judy premises on Soi 17 (Soi Region

  • You have mentioned this in other posts repeatedly???? I know a good short time hotel.

  • Yesterday, went to Welcome Inn on Darkside for Sunday Roast. Had the mixed meat for 260B. Outstanding value and enjoyable meal, could not fault it. Welcome Inn has A/C and had about 6 or 7 punter

I had a a western breakfast at

Frazers sports bar

Thappraya Rd, Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150

Very good food, good service and great to sit outside on the balcony and watch the world go by. Loved the sausages, tasted great. I just wondered what herbs they used.

FYI, Krua Na Baan, that used to be at the back of BigC Marina that you mentioned before, has moved to Soi Wat Boon.

Where on Soii Wat Boon?

Close to the beach?

Close to Suk?

I was going to order from the Honest Indian restaurant but it seems they have been closed for weeks now......They have a well priced Set meal on Grab I have been wanting to try....

Had the chicken Parmi at the Sportsman on soi 13 today, was pretty good at 275 baht (couldn't taste the garlic in the garlic sauce though)

From the menu:

The Boro' Parmo!

A tender bread crumbed chicken breast smothered in a creamy cheese béchamel, topped with cheddar cheese, served with French fries, salad and garlic mayo.

Well well, I finely got to try the Honest Indian.....

I have to agree with Jingting the food is good...

The true test of Indian food is not with the expensive food but with the set meal.....I ordered their set and the masala papad (kind of like salsa) the bill came to 199 including delivery....

The set meal was very quality for the price.....

The other 4-5 Indian places I tried on Grab were bland and just not very good...

Cheap charlies is open now, the 99 breakfast is good, but not the one with mushroom as they use $hit white mushroom not the usual ones, I wonder if someone like them ?

also, do people in UK really eat the $hit fried bread ? how ridiculous useless dog food it is... so weird... even the French do it better, at least they fry with eggs and sugar !

In the running for the best restaurant in the Pattaya area, CAFE BLU.

Thapraya Soi 9, Arcadia Condo Resort (on the 2nd floor next to the swimming pool.)

Fresh, quality ingredients prepared to perfection.

The owner has operated the fine dining establishment Cafe De Amis for 15 years.

This place is much more casual than Cafe De Amis but you still will be spoiled by the tasty delights he is serving up.

I had the wagu burger that he fresh grinds up on the premises, served on a homemade bun. Also tried an excellent rocket salad with grilled Italian sausage w shaved parmesan and delicious fried squid rings.

I'll be back to try the pizzas, steaks, cold cut/cheese tasting platter and other enticing options.

Give them a shot. You'll be glad you did

Be sure to click on the photos to see the offerings.

I forgot to mention.

One can easily take a Baht Bus to Thapraya Soi 9 and make a short 3 minute walk to the Cafe Blu.

French toast and fried bried are two different beasts, both good at the right time.

Yes some do, some do not. Different nationalities have differing tastes. For example I do not want sugary things with my breakfast, as I am all grown up now.

Serious question - the chairs in the picture look uncomfortable and seem to offer limited back support - what were they really like?

I wouldn't know what those bar stools are like.

....but if you click on the photos in the link, you'll see they are well furnished with cozy booths and comfy chairs too. You will feel as snug as a bug in a rug.

A peek inside the kitchen and look around, it's obvious no expense was spared here but the prices are surprisingly reasonable.

Some smart people can try and appreciate different things...

I come from where we mostly eat sweet in the morning, but I can perfectly eat bacon and eggs without any problem.

People who think that what they call their taste cannot change are a joke.

Nick's & i-Rovers both look pretty good to me. Only thing missing is black pud IMHO.

You can have black pudding at I-Rovers as it's 'hash browns' or 'black pudding'
