Regrettably so, as we all get tarnished with the same Brush.

they really don't care  about anyone else-  drinkers are probably the most selfish of all people who take drugs to cope with life..

  • Sometimes, I feel great shame for my fellow foreigners. I thought we were intelligent enough to understand the situation and follow instructions. Apparently, I was very wrong.

Maybe they don't care because they think COVID isn't any worse than the flu. And would prefer not to live the rest of their lives in a state of constant fear locked in their homes.

  • Nah there are  no walking sticks in sight so i doubt it the crowd is too young ????   Plus we all know that the nobody on Thaivisa would break the law like that.

And they deliver to you, cash on delivery in Thailand. Do you say that you keep social distancing rules when paying them? How exactly do you do that?

Some services take electronic payment when you order the food.

Lately I have recognized that working girls are actually smarter than politicians.

I would even say that most Soi dogs are smarter.

Not like the old days when you had  a member from Phuket arrested for murder. I think he was a mod as well

That is true! Never felt the need to get to know and associate with them, though. ????

Eh i mean tempels and beaches.

I do English tutoring for Chinese, Japanese, Korean adults online. When I bring up Thailand they say they come for work or vacation. Of course I ask, so what do you do for fun? ALWAYS temples and beaches. Man they just love 'em.

Tell them there is a cheque in the post through the window.

The police could, of course, be a bit more pro-active and visit/close these places before 9pm.  If they wanted to actually help solve this particular supposed Covid issue, that is.

Honest, I stopped drinking at 9. That is why there is still beer in my glass.

Amazing delta covid knows how to tell time too

The newer models have good cameras you don't need to be REALLY close and wearing a mask and being outside has less chance to catch it . Or do you tell me when you go shopping your chance of getting close to people isn't the same as when paying by QR code with the phone , only then you are inside a building(shop) ,so stop the drama Mikey you can't win this one .

With a 1 in 10,000 chance of catching it by contacting a 'contaminated' surface, I'll take my chances with cash.  The waste of plastics and chemicals for cleaning is astounding, and for what?

Do the research.  Follow the science.  SARS-COV2 is an aerosol transmitted disease.  Give your immune system some exercise for the other pathogens we have to fight off, lay off the stupid alcohol hand sanitizer and cleaning every surface every hour.  Just a waste of resources.

How about posting a chart of deaths from flu, traffic accidents and heart attacks.  Bet you its more than 3300 (thailand).

And how are Hospitals suppose to treat traffic accidents and heart attacks if every bed has a Covid patient? You see that's why we all have to wear masks and follow the rules. Once a countries Health System collapses deaths from everything skyrocket.

They need to be deported just as Bali did to idiots who refused to ware a mask. They need to send the message to the privileged ones who think they are above the needs of the country. Your a guest here and as a guest you should not put the local population at risk because your need to sit in a bar n google the girls, grow the <deleted> up. People are dying daily isn’t that enough incentive to act responsibily?

I think if covid has taught us anything, it's that a lot of people, perhaps most, think they are special, the rules don't apply to the and they, or their friends/family, couldn't possibly have covid, ever.  It's very much an "everyone else" problem.

If Covid thought us anything is that a lot of people would be amazing German citizens in 1939.

Agreed, the COVID fearmongers on this forum would snitch on you in a second.

(I saw ExpatDraco without his mask on yesterday ...... come and get him)

(BritmanToo had a glass of beer in his hand at 21:05 last night, off to COVID jail with him)

Quite the opposite actually, its the people who refuse to act responsibly are the ones who have caused numerous deaths . Its the people not "following orders" who are causing deaths

People on here calling the gov inept. lol

That's hardly the case.

They are laughing all the way to the bank.

They aren't even original in this...they are following the model of the big boys, copying their success.

The essential takeaway from this is not the heinous criminality of the culprits, but the impact reading about it will have on anyone even THINKING about coming to Thailand for a holiday. You what? No drinkies? You have got to be joking! 12 hour flight each way, appallingly Byzantine entry requirements, potentially costly quarantine, no freedom of movement etc etc. I mean, what's honestly to like?

Oh dear know the bar the punters too,how did they know anyway did someone tell the police

if brains were dynamite, this thick bunch would not have enough between their collective ears to blow their caps off.

I was really looking forward to the pic of those arrested with big boss cops nearby showing their daily haul.  So disapointed.

It is called hygiene theater.

Oh dear the wowsers have the science down pat, drinking a beer after 9.00 pm is a dead set Covid vector. Praising the Lord on Sunday without your mask…

I have a new expensive mobile, sure, it works at a bit over half a meter if the other person has a good mobile too and screen is at maximum but no more than 30 centimeters in a non optimum scenario. Guess what phones poor Street sellers and delivery guys use, the best ones? I of course use the lower number as my measure.

Six months. Are you sure that's enough?

Absolutely not, it could very well be longer than that too.
