What countries have you lived in? (Just for fun)

I don't mean visited or holidays.  Countries that you have lived and worked/retired in.

I'm British, and lived many years in the UK of course.  Then after completing my 7 years of college/university, it was off to France to work for Alcatel Espace in Toulouse.  Then I worked for Alcatel Space in Belgium. I struck out with my own businesses and settled in Andorra.  After many years, I moved to live in Thailand, building small hotels.  Then over to Yangon in Myanmar to teach.  On to Laos as principal of a school and then back to Myanmar to live and teach in the strange new capital city of Naypyitaw. Then back to north Laos to teach online.  Finally (in the next few weeks), over to either Turkey or North Cyprus (because I miss beaches....).

How about you?

Only lived in 2 countries. England 31 years and Thailand 31 years.

I was born in Guildford Surry England  At 18 years of age I had a crazy idea to head to Australia encouraged by the so called Big Brother Movement that turned out to be a complete fraud .

I lived there as a unwelcome pommy until i was 32 years of age and returned to England where i worked in London in the construction industry .

I became involved with a Norwegian woman while working in London and I ended up living on the West coast of Norway . I remained there until I was 61 years of age which taught me a great deal and have a lot of respect for the country

I then decided to move to Thailand and i am now 68 years of age .

Shall I try a new country  while I have good health I ask my self . Undecided

I'm actually 50/50 (Serbo-Croat), but I spent my childhood in Belgrade. Not many people say former Yugoslavia... but that's what it says on my Canadian passport. I insisted ????
