It's amazing how every single movie or series has worked in the idea of same sex relationships. I watched the new Matrix movie yesterday and caught a background image of two lesbians holding each other as Keanu and his costar kissed in the foreground. It was just for a second but it was there. If it's not right out in the open, it's something you can find in the background or maybe one character will say they are in a same-sex relationship. I also noticed they did it in the new Hawkeye series with an discussion about the bag Hawkeye was about to take. The person giving the bag said the bag was a gift from her wife. That's all but enough.

 

I have no problem with this. I just wish Hollywood to a more active stance in other areas where we need change in society. I mean how about noting that these people who attack strangers or have school fights or fight with the cashiers stop and think. Put more scenes about these morons in the media and address the issue. Put more about absentee parents and working for a living. Put more about the 1%. And definitely they need to address the issue of everyone resisting police for no good reasons all the time. Anyways, you can clearly see the same-sex push from Hollywood but not much about responsibility as citizens or parents.

Not sure if you are talking about Fringe or Devs but I just binged the Devs Series 1 and it was really worthwhile watching. Looking forward to Series 2.

DEVS was just a mini-series so there is no series/season 2, unfortunately.  Did you know character Lyndon was played by a girl?
