Amid much noise and damaged items in the room a 58 year old Swiss man was taken into custody. A stash of marijuana weighing 29.79 grams was found hidden in a dental floss box. He admitted buying the drugs for 500 baht. An initial urine test at the station came back purple indicating drug use, reported Daily News yesterday. Further tests at Koh Chang Hospital confirmed the presence of marijuana and methamphetamine in the man's system. He was detained at the police station and charged with possession of a Class 5 (ganja) restricted narcotic. Neither the name of the man, the homestay or the reason for the upset was given in the article, notes ASEAN NOW.
