In the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) to earn basic parachute wings, you have to complete a 2 week course, which includes 7 static line jumps from aircraft, both door and ramp, including 2 night jumps, multiple jumps from a 33 foot tower prior to aircraft jumps, physically perform 31 sit-ups (non-stop), 7 chin-ups (non-stop), run 1 mile in 7 minutes 30 seconds or less. There are multiple levels of parachuting, top one requires minimum of 50 free fall jumps.

 

Do RTP parachute wing holders do even half of the basic CAF course?

Seriously, you see the same (or similar) badge on almost every uniform worn by a gov't employee. Teachers, politicians, police, ect.
I've seen more "wings" here in a couple of years than I did in the 22 years I was in the (Canadian) army !

The story will vanish quickly, as will the allegations. This is despite the news above about the cops murder and the possible motive. Nothing can interfere with the money flow. 

Someone I know joined the Immigration Police and her first uniform had three medal ribbons already attached. 

on a side note she and many of her colleagues are very attractive as are these ladies I knew in the U.K.

Many of them do, yes. I used to be quite friendly with the guy who used to be the head parachute instructor at one of the army bases just north of Hua Hin.

 

He told me that if I was ever stopped by a policeman for a traffic offence or whatever, I should check if they had parachute wings and if so, I should mention his name and it would probably help. Never had the chance to try out his advice, as yet.

Depending what parachute you have you can acquire different ones some are for a donation but I would say she has had a few jumps !

The Parachute badge is not as such, I was informed they are supposed to receive it for high wire training, even get it if they "Bottle it" that info was from a Thai and volunteer policeman.

The actual Thai Military parachute wing badge has 3 elephant heads above the wings.
